Xavier Becerra and Steve Hilton emerged from a crowded field to run against each other in the fall election for governor.
A no party preference candidate from Malibu got only votes statewide — that's 0.67 percent. As near as we can tell, not one news article anywhere mentioned this woman, but she did appear at numerous Malibu city council meetings to campaign.
In Los Angeles, Karen Bass and Spencer Pratt are heading to a runoff this fall in the Los Angeles mayoral race.
