Chad Lowe's 13-year-old daughter dies months after Palisades fire loss

A family whose lives were turned upside down when their house burned down in Pacific Palisades last year now has an unspeakable loss — the loss of their 13-year-old daughter.
Actor Chad Lowe on Wednesday said his daughter, Fiona Hepler Lowe, had recently died.
In a statement to People magazine, the actor and his wife, producer Kim Painter, said they are deeply heartbroken by the loss of their beloved Fiona.
No cause of death was mentioned, but the family statement said if you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988.
Chad Lowe and his brother Rob Lowe grew up on Point Dume and still have deep family roots in Malibu. The family home in the Palisades burned down in January 2025.
