City study finds PCH pedestrian undercrossing feasible
An engineering study concludes a tunnel beneath Pacific Coast Highway at Malibu Seafood is possible.

A pedestrian undercrossing beneath Pacific Coast Highway at Malibu Seafood is indeed possible, a city engineering study has concluded.
The idea is to reduce the number of pedestrians scrambling across the highway at the beach, the trailhead, the popular roadside seafood stand, and the parking on both sides of the highway.
The project also seeks to accommodate ADA access and install lighting within the pedestrian undercrossing to improve visibility.
