Doug Stewart first to submit petitions for fall council race
Four other candidates have taken petitions ahead of the August 7th deadline for the Malibu City Council election.

The first candidate has submitted signed petitions to run in the fall city council race. That would be incumbent Doug Stewart.
Four other people have taken out petitions so far. Those would be Anne Komarovsk; Crystal "Cici" Hoang Lee; Marianne Riggins, another incumbent; and Danny Smith.
The deadline for submitting valid petitions is Friday, August 7th.
