No Secret Service. No CHP. No sheriff's office. Kamala Harris intruder intercepted inside yard
A private security guard apprehended a woman inside the former vice president's yard Friday. Neither Harris nor Doug Emhoff was home.

The dangers of being a former vice president and living in an unguarded house became evident Friday in Malibu. That's when an intruder was caught by a private security guard inside Kamala Harris's compound on Point Dume. No sheriff's deputies were stationed there, no CHP officers, no Secret Service detail.
President Donald Trump had pulled the vice president's Secret Service detail, a security precaution that had been afforded to all former presidents and vice presidents prior to Trump. After the governor gave her CHP officers, that was withdrawn amidst a public outcry. A lot of people felt offended that the state would have to pay to guard a former federal officer like that.
The woman was apprehended in the yard. She was a kook. She was kicked out but not charged with anything. Neither Harris nor her husband Doug Emhoff were present at the house on Point Dume at the time.

Trump s/b ashamed of himself for leaving Harris unprotected, but then he knows no shame. The CHP should therefore step in and at least station one officer at the Harris home for each work shift, regardless of the criticisms of some people.
