KBUU western Malibu booster back on the air
The FM 99.1 signal has been restored to Trancas Canyon, Broad Beach and other western Malibu areas after an equipment failure.

The KBUU booster in western Malibu has been restored to service. Trancas Canyon, Broad Beach and other western areas can once again hear the station on FM 99.1.
The electronic device that delivers the FM signal in sync with the other two transmitters had failed, and a replacement was not immediately available.
Also, no newscasts were broadcast or published Monday due to the power outages that commanded our attention.
