LAUSD starts school today; Malibu classes begin next week
The nation's second-largest school district opens today, bringing more traffic through the Santa Monica Mountains and Malibu.

School doesn't start in Malibu for another week — but the massive Los Angeles Unified School District starts school today.
That will mean a change in traffic patterns on the commute roads through the Santa Monica Mountains and Malibu. And lots of kids on the streets in L.A.
The first day of classes at Malibu's four public schools is in 8 days, on Thursday.
