Malibu Pie Festival canceled, pivot party set for Sunday
Malibu Methodist Church replaces its 35th annual Pie Festival with a Sunday pivot party featuring pie, barbecue and baskets.

The 35th annual Malibu Pie Festival scheduled for Saturday is canceled, Malibu Methodist Church announced.
In its place, the church is inviting the community to a Pie Festival Pivot Party on Sunday, with pie, barbecue, baskets and more in the courtyard.
Worship services begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the pie party at noon.
Pies will be delivered to local firefighters and other support teams as a thank you for their service.
"Continued gratitude for the sweet things in life," the church said.
