Man's Body Recovered from Ocean at Big Rock
Sheriff's deputies and lifeguards responded to a burned-out vacant lot just west of the Big Rock traffic signal.

A man's body was recovered from the ocean at Big Rock last night.
The sheriff's department was not releasing details about the incident, other than to confirm that an adult male had died just west of the Big Rock traffic signal.
A large number of sheriff's department vehicles and lifeguards were sent to a burned-out vacant lot just west of the Big Rock traffic signal. Yellow crime scene tape was surrounding one of the lots there. It appears that detectives were on the scene.
Deputies did not release any further information last night. The sheriff's homicide bureau was not commenting this morning.
