Lane closures resume Tuesday.
The state is closing one eastbound lane, heading towards Santa Monica, about a quarter mile past Big Rock.
They are working to protect the crumbling ocean cliff at the east end of Tuna Beach.
They get the long weekend off, but will be back in the right lane Tuesday morning.
