Rain is on the horizon for Wednesday and Thursday.
Malibu could get as much as an inch of rain, maybe more if a thunderstorm develops.
The mountains above Malibu may see one to two inches. Intense rainfall is possible Wednesday, maybe as much as three-quarters of an inch per hour.
Friday the storm will blow out and some mild Santa Ana winds will blow in — emphasis on mild. This will only be a two-to-four-millibar storm, nothing like last Friday's windstorm, and there will be no heat this time either.
Even with the Santa Anas, the valleys won't get much above 80 degrees Friday.
