Swimmer ends California-length attempt near Coronado

A woman named Catherine Breed, who was trying to swim the entire length of California, completed her effort Monday after 111 days in the water. She stopped short of the international border at San Ysidro, giving up her effort near Coronado. Too much sewage in the water from Tijuana.
