In Pacific Palisades and Venice, Los Angeles City Councilmember Traci Park has won re-election, trouncing a left-wing challenger.
By any non-California standard, Traci Park would be considered a bit of a liberal. But at LA City Hall, she is a bit of a conservative.
Park has been a close ally of the police and fire unions in the city, calling for more cops and firefighters.
Park got 55 percent of the vote. A democratic socialist, Faizah Malik, got 35 percent.
