Trump visit to Palos Verdes will snarl LAX-area traffic tonight
The president's motorcade from LAX to Trump National Golf Course is expected to close portions of the 405 and Sepulveda Boulevard.

President Donald Trump is making a rare appearance in Southern California tonight. It's only his second trip to the LA area in two years.
Expect major traffic delays on roads linking LAX to the Redondo Beach area, as Trump motorcades from Imperial Highway to the Trump National Golf Course on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
Thankfully for motorists, Trump does not own any other properties in Southern California.
The exact route for the motorcade has not been released, and the Secret Service likes to make changes at the last minute. But to get from LAX to the Palos Verdes Peninsula, it is a good bet that the 405 will be closed to traffic late this afternoon. Also, Sepulveda Boulevard.
The TV station helicopters will be banned from the skies today, so don't expect any traffic reports.
