Working all night at Coastline Drive, Caltrans crews are trying to protect the highway by building a new rock revetment near Coastline, across the road from the Getty Villa Museum.
This is the $15.2 million emergency project to shore up the highway at Coastline Drive.
Crews will be back at work Monday night, when they will have only one lane open in each direction. That will continue for five days.
