Multiple PCH lane closures scheduled this week
Caltrans, Verizon and Southern California Edison all have crews working along Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu this week.

According to a Caltrans list, crews may need to block one lane of eastbound PCH at Pena Canyon Beach — after Big Rock, before Topanga Beach. That's on the beach side of the highway.
In the opposite direction, Verizon will be working at Topanga Canyon Boulevard to underground fiber circuits on westbound PCH heading toward Malibu.
Nighttime lane closures heading toward Malibu will be underway all this week further west at Big Rock, as Southern California Edison undergrounds power lines. Several nighttime projects will be underway in both directions in the same area.
At Duke's Restaurant, lane closures in both directions will be in place this week at the traffic light at Las Flores Canyon Road. Caltrans crews will remove storm debris, do additional drainage work, and build some new retaining wall.
