PCH traffic crawls in both directions as water pipe is repaired Play

Traffic is very heavy heading eastbound into Santa Monica, moving at about 12 miles an hour past Sunset Boulevard heading down the coast.

Heading out toward Malibu, traffic is very heavy coming out of the tunnel, moving at about 10 miles an hour.

Since the start of this newscast, delays have begun backing up starting at Las Flores Canyon. It is slow all the way through the Malibu fire zone, all the way down to Topanga, and past Topanga into the construction zone at Temescal Canyon Road.
