Sandbags available at Malibu fire stations and Zuma
All four county fire stations have empty bags, but filled sandbags are only available in limited numbers at the city's equestrian park.

Sandbags are being handed out to Malibu residents at all the fire stations and at the sandbag station as the rainstorm approaches.
All four L.A. County fire stations are handing out sandbags. But despite what it says on the city website, the fire stations are not handing out filled sandbags — they're only handing out the bags. You have to supply your own sand. The city does not say that on its website.
You can get fill-your-own sandbags at the Zuma Beach main entrance. Filled sandbags are being handed out in limited numbers at the city's equestrian park, just off Morning View Drive at Zuma Beach. If you need to get there, turn up the coast from PCH at Morning View Drive and follow the signs to the sandbag station, which is around the corner on Merritt Drive.
Remember, it's illegal and not a good idea to fill sandbags with sand from the beaches.
