Westward Beach sand disappearing, entry station removed

At Westward Beach, the sand is further disappearing across the street from the Sunset Restaurant. The entry station to the park, which was a small prefab building, was gone. It was apparently hauled out by the LA County Department of Beaches and Harbors Tuesday. We don't think the ocean carried it away.
The big sand dune with ice plant on top of it opposite the restaurant is being carved away by the ocean. Down the road along Westward Beach, the beach itself is getting narrower and narrower still.
