A power line flashed over and fell onto Pacific Coast Highway Monday night. The incident was on PCH between Trancas and the Broad Beach Road western turnoff.
The lanes were blocked in both directions at around 5:45 p.m., and they stayed closed until the power company could get out to neutralize any live wires. There was no fire. It's not clear what caused the lines to fall.
