16-Year-Old Arrested in Santa Monica Pier Killing
A juvenile from Las Vegas surrendered 40 hours after Sunday night's fatal shooting in the pier parking lot.

Police in Santa Monica have arrested a 16-year-old male from Las Vegas who they say shot and killed a man at the Santa Monica Pier parking lot last weekend.
The juvenile surrendered to Santa Monica Police Department detectives Tuesday evening, about 40 hours after the murder in the big parking lot Sunday night.
Detectives say a fight had broken out between two groups just before the shooting.
The victim was identified as 24-year-old Edgar Buitimea of Los Angeles.
