There's a free sandbag distribution event from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at Malibu Equestrian Park, with a limit of 25 per household.
It's sponsored by County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, and there will be LA County flood people there to talk to if you so desire.
That's 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at Malibu Equestrian Park, off Morning View Drive just above Zuma Beach. Follow the signs.
