Zuma Beach Triathlon returns Sunday with Broad Beach detours
Traffic in and out of Broad Beach will be briefly restricted as runners pass through; organizers face new course headaches this year.

Two major events in Malibu this weekend. First, the Zuma Beach Triathlon. The kids' run is Saturday.
The traffic impact will be Sunday, when traffic will be briefly restricted going into and out of Broad Beach, both at Broad Beach Road and at West Broad Beach Road, while the runners run through.
The triathlon this year has more difficulties. Organizers can't use the Zuma Creek underpass, and they may or may not be able to use the Westward Beach Road extension all the way down to Point Dume. Just another headache for organizers, but it won't much affect the race or parking down there.
